Privacy Policy
1. Who is responsible for your data
Mr. Kuncharn Sawasdee, trading as Upbeat Studio / Upbeat Engine, Thailand, is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: support@upbeatengine.com.
2. What data we handle
- Website visits. Our web hosting provider records standard server information such as your IP address, the pages requested and the time. This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
- Fonts and videos. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google servers when you view them. YouTube videos are loaded only after you choose to play them.
- Emails you send us. Your email address and the content of your message, so that we can answer you.
- Purchases. Payment is handled by a third-party payment provider that collects your payment details. We receive order information such as your name, email address, country, the products you bought and the payment status. We do not receive your full card number.
- Demo registration. If you ask for a demo, we process your first name, last name, country and email address; the plug-in and computer type you chose; whether you ticked the optional box for news and offers; the time of your request; and a one-way coded value (a hash) made from your IP address that we use only to limit abuse. We do not store your IP address itself in this registration record.
- License activation. When you activate a license, we process your license key, your email address, a device identifier (or the request file generated by the product) and the activation status and dates.
3. Why we use it
- To send you the demo you asked for, and to answer you.
- If you ticked the optional box: to send you news and offers about Upbeat Engine products. You can withdraw this at any time by emailing support@upbeatengine.com.
- To deliver your license, activate your product and provide support.
- To process purchases and refunds and to meet legal and tax obligations.
- To prevent misuse, such as unauthorized copying of a license. This is our legitimate interest.
- Where the law requires your consent, we ask for it and you can withdraw it at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the business (the payment provider and the web hosting provider) and with authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
5. Transfers abroad
Some of our service providers operate outside Thailand, so your data may be processed in other countries. We use providers that handle personal data under their own data-protection commitments.
6. How long we keep it
We keep data for as long as needed to maintain your license and support you, and for as long as legal, tax and accounting rules require. After that we delete or anonymize it.
Demo registrations are deleted 24 months after you register. If you never confirm your email address, the registration is deleted within 30 days. If you withdraw your consent to news and offers, we stop sending them.
7. Your rights
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) you may ask to access your personal data, receive a copy, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its use, withdraw consent, and request data portability where it applies. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee. To use these rights, email support@upbeatengine.com.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The version published on this page, with its "last updated" date, is the current version.
